Typical MGA and Early MGB Gearbox Problems

1. Two dogs broken off 2nd gear
2. Severely worn lug on synchro ring
3. Wear on gears
4. Excessive 2nd and 3rd end-float. In   
    excess of .015 (below)
Clutch fork pivot bolt and bushing completely worn
out resulting in carbon release bearing not being
concentric with clutch cover, which leads to rapid
bearing disintegration.
